AS uses a number of officials and independent producers and authors of the stories, or propose pitch. Some stories are so good, or arrange for an author evaluated in order to read an essay (David Sedaris), or a piece of fiction. They are for the purpose of a program (or a theme is chosen for similar stories) develops and divided into 3 or 4 events. Ira Glass is both host and producer, but the stories make the atmosphere will be selected by the concerned employees, not just him. TAL accepts submissions, and some even take to the air.
